Ahhhhh the age old question. "What exactly IS a Grillaholic???"
At it's simplest, a Grillaholic is a person who is addicted to grilling. This isn't just someone who fires up the grill on a Saturday, makes a few burgers for the family, and calls it a week. Grillaholics take their passion for grilling to a whole new level.
At Grillaholics, we get this question a lot, so we wanted to set the record straight once and for all about what truly makes someone a Grillaholic. This list is in no way comprehensive of all of the things that Grillaholics do, but here are 10 things that separates the grilling enthusiasts from the true Grillaholics.
1) Grilling In The Snow/Rain
Not even the elements can keep the Grillaholic away from their grill. While most would shy away at the first sign of precipitation, a true Grillaholic remains unshaken. Even as the snow is hitting the ground, the burgers are hitting the grates. No excuses.

2) Grilling On A Weekday
Grillaholics are not simply weekend warriors. They find time to grill even during the work week! Whether it's a grill out for dinner, or even trying to squeeze in a grilling session during their lunch break, Grillaholics just can't go an entire day without firing up the grill!
Having trouble coming up with ideas for what to grill tonight? We've got a comprehensive list that will help you no matter what day of the week it is.
3) Smoking Something For Over Six Hours
Barbecue is a labor of love, and Grillaholics know that sometimes that labor takes time. Whether it's a beautiful brisket, some perfect pulled pork, or a rack of ridiculous ribs, a Grillaholic is willing to spend all day (some get up at 2:00 AM just to START smoking!) when the result is something so delicious, tender, and juicy.

4) Having An Arsenal Of The Best BBQ Tools
Like a painter needs his brushes, a Grillaholic needs the finest grilling accessories to create a true masterpiece. Not only does the Grillaholic own all of the quintessential tools for the job (spatula, meat fork, tongs, etc.), but they also know the right time to use each one.
If you're looking for the best bbq accessories out there, look no further.
5) Grilling For 10+ People
It's basically the First Commandment for Grillaholics: Thou shalt not be selfish. Grillaholics love what they do and relish the opportunity to share their creations with as many fortunate people as possible. It honestly works out perfectly, because Grillaholics are notorious for grilling way more food than is necessary for the occasion (let's be honest, that's a good thing and not a bad thing), so invite some family and friends over and share your craft with those around you.

6) Perfectly Reverse Sear A Steak
Perhaps one of the most difficult methods of preparing steak to master, but to the Grillaholic, this task is par for the course. Tasked with cooking the steak indirectly first, and finishing it off with a beautiful sear, the reverse searing method results in a steak that is uniformly cooked throughout, with a delicious charred crust surrounding it.

7) Have A Sweet Grilling Setup
A Grillaholic knows the importance of a workstation built to create masterpieces. A Grillaholic spends a majority of their time in this domain, and so it's important to have a customized setup that suits their needs. A Grillaholic's workstation is like a second home, and because of that, it must be clean, organized, and most importantly, epic.

8) Have Your Own Secret BBQ Sauce/Rub Recipe

After years of testing hundreds of combinations of herbs and spices, most Grillaholics will have their own secret recipe for anything they grill.

9) Grill When It's Less Than 32°F Outside

Besides, what better way to stay warm when it's freezing outside than with the loving, tender embrace of the grill?
