Grilled Chocolate Chip Cookies
Posted by Devin Dorosh on
Ok, Grillaholics. Grab your Grill Mats and cookie dough. We’re going to show you how to make your favorite cookies on the grill, because, how else do you cook? But if you don’t have a Grill Mat, that’s ok. We can still teach you a few tricks!
Ingredients:
- Grillaholics Grill Mat or cookie sheet and pie pan.
- Chocolate chip cookie dough (your favorite recipe is fine!)
- Spatula (Definitely the one from your Grillaholics Grill Tools)
The most important part of this process is keeping the grill at a consistent temperature.
Pre-heat grill to 350°
If you’re using a grill mat, be sure the flames don’t come into direct contact with the mats!
If you’re using a cookie sheet, set your pie pan on the grill upside down and set the cookie sheet on top of it. This will help the heat circulate directly to the cookies.
Place the cookies on the grill
You can place the cookie dough balls (preferably 2″) directly on the grill mats. Make sure they have been cleaned recently. You wouldn’t want your cookies tasting like dinner from the night before.
Place cookies on a greased cookie sheet if you don’t have the grill mat.
Bake
Close the lid, but be sure to check on them often as the grill temperature can escalate quickly! The cookies will bake on either the mat or the cookie sheet for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve and Brag
Get them off the grill by taking the cookie sheet or using a spatula. If you’re using a stainless steel spatula, be careful to not cut or scrape your grill mat. Serve them up to your friends and family and brag about your newest grilling technique!
If you have tried any other cookie recipes on the grill let us know and we may feature it in a future Grillaholics blog. Thanks for keeping up with Grillaholics and keep on grilling!
